New Zealand Home – Officially Open!
We are delighted to announce that the Mercy Ministries home in Auckland has now
received the first intake of young women into the programme. In mid–December over
150 guests attended the opening at the Mercy Ministries Auckland home, which
featured a performance from local singer/songwriter and Mercy Ministries supporter
juliagrace. Founder of Mercy Ministries International, Nancy Alcorn officially
opened the home, which currently houses eight young women in the programme.
Thank you again to all who have generously contributed towards the establishment
of the New Zealand home.
Mercy Walk ‘08
Mercy Walk ’07 raised over $30,000 – a great result! A huge thank you to all who
participated in this event and raised sponsorship for us – we look forward to you
joining with us again this coming year.
Along with funds raised from the Walk, two very generous gifts, and an amazing
contribution from Toyota, we have been able to complete the property fencing project,
and purchase a brand new Toyota 12–seater van.
Mercy Walk ’08 will be held on 01 November, with Walks planned in Auckland, Hamilton,
Tauranga, New Plymouth, Nelson, Christchurch and Dunedin.
