Residential Programme Manager Hannah Frost is a registered New Zealand Social Worker with experience in the health and social services sectors. Having worked with NZ teenagers for over ten years, she brings both qualifications and hands–on expertise. Hannah has a Bachelor in Social Practice, having majored in Social Work, and a Certificate in Pastoral Care & Counselling. She is a member of ANZASW.
The Programme Assistant has a Diploma in Counselling with additional training in Equine Assisted Therapy and Health Science (Nursing), She is a member of St Johns Ambulance and is currently undertaking training in Paramedics. The Household Manager facilitates the daily operation of the residential home. She works closely with the Dietician in preparing meal plans and has a background in the hospitality industry as well as being a trained Teacher Our two Counsellors have completed their Diploma in Counselling and are members of the Christian Counsellors Association.(MNZCCA). They have regular professional external supervision. Our Groups Facilitator is a trained therapist who holds a BSc Hons Science and is a registered mental health Nurse in the U.K as well as being a registered Nurse and holding a current practicing certificate in NZ. She brings experience in Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) and family therapy having worked in a variety of inpatient and community settings both in London and Auckland District Health Board's including Starship Child and Family Unit and the Early Intervention Psychosis team. She is part of the wider therapy team and along with groups provides individual therapy.
Dietitian We contract a Qualified Dietitian (BSc Human Nutrition, PGDip Dietetics) to the service who provides monthly consultations to residents and programme staff. Our support staff are employed to provide programme supervision and care for residents during night's and weekends. While not providing clinical input for residents they are trained in accessing these services for residents should they be required and also have on-call clinical support and supervision available from day programme staff.. Our support staff come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences; these include counselling students, social work students, teachers and teaching students, those with experience and interest in youth work and pastoral care. The young women in the programme have access to specialist doctors and medical professionals as and when required. |
